KING Belgium redesigns its office with circular furniture

KING Belgium distributes cleaning, hygiene, disinfection, catering, and protective supplies across Belgium and Luxembourg. After decades without a major interior update, the team wanted a workplace that felt more current and more aligned with its values.

Sustainability mattered to the organisation and to its younger team, so the redesign needed to go beyond aesthetics and make reuse visible in the finished space.

Relieve helped KING Belgium refurnish the office with 58 second-life items, selected from inventory to match the new layout's needs for desks, seating, and storage.

The project also included a reclaimed wooden partition wall created with Reglo and custom cushions made from surplus fabrics by Laure Moulin, adding warmth without generating unnecessary new waste.

The project saved 1.16 tonnes of CO2 and rehoused 58 items. The result is a functional, inviting workspace with circular choices built into both furniture and details.

For KING Belgium, the redesign shows how reuse, local collaboration, and custom finishing can create an office that feels responsible without feeling compromised.
