The context
Next to Groenendael station, Tero & The Woods set out to create a coworking space that could become a strong example of sustainable development. The space needed to feel beautiful, functional, and aligned with circular economy principles.
A large share of the layout was dedicated to common areas, so the furniture had to encourage collaboration while maintaining a high-quality atmosphere.
What Relieve did
Relieve supported the project through second-life furniture selection, helping the team choose pieces that looked refined while carrying a clear reuse story.
The process required careful planning and clear expectations from the start, proving that circularity can support aesthetics rather than limit them.
The outcome
The project saved 6.35 tonnes of CO2 and rehoused 247 items. The coworking space is now a practical example of how reuse can reduce impact while creating a distinctive, high-quality environment.
