A familiar face, a new space: behind the scenes at Compagnie ABC’s new HQ
In a former water tower turned creative hub in Forest, ABC Compagnie is writing a new chapter. Known across Brussels for their iconic bars, this vibrant team is behind several of the city’s best-loved spots, places every Brussels local has likely visited, knowingly or not.
With their new office, Compagnie ABC wanted a space that reflects their core values: creative, local, and responsible. For them, as for us, designing a great workspace should never come at the expense of the planet. That’s why Relieve Furniture was chosen to furnish this unique place with a sustainable, circular approach.
The Context
Just like their bars, ABC’s office needed to feel authentic, functional, and full of personality. No new furniture here, just high-quality, characterful pieces selected for a second life, with environmental impact front of mind.
The Relieve Furniture Solution
Relieve Furniture supported ABC Compagnie from the first consultation to the final setup. Our mission: provide high-quality second-life furniture that combines comfort, style, and sustainability.
Tailored selection: 41 carefully chosen items, including a beautiful collection of Herman Miller chairs, known for their comfort and durability, alongside a stylish selection of Vitra Visaroll chairs that combine mobility, design, and functionality. In their main meeting room, we also installed several acoustic towers, which help structure the space while significantly improving sound comfort, a touch that’s both aesthetic and smart, fully aligned with the spirit of the place.
Measurable impact: This project helped avoid 1.28 tonnes of CO₂ emissions the equivalent of more than 6,000 km driven by car.
Smooth logistics: Efficient transport, quick installation, and full alignment with the renovation timeline.
A Genuine Collaboration
Small in scale but big in meaning, this collaboration proves that function, aesthetics, and sustainability can go hand in hand. Together with Compagnie ABC, we showed that even modest projects can have a real impact.

An office space that mirrors the soul of Compagnie ABC: creative, local, and sustainable. A workplace where every chair has a story, every desk a second chance, and every decision a meaningful step toward a better future.

We were delighted to work with Relieve Furniture. Michael followed us closely throughout the project. Trained as an architect, he quickly provided us with a layout plan, along with furniture suggestions and a pre-selection. Delivery went perfectly, with the furniture in good reconditioned condition. The post-delivery follow-up was also very responsive, particularly when it came to providing us with a list of missing furniture.
