Second-hand meeting tables in Brussels

A meeting table is bought once and kept, which is exactly why so many good ones come back onto the market when an office moves. These come from clearances across Belgium.

What to check on a used meeting table

Power and data modules date faster than the table

The table itself rarely wears out. What dates is the built-in power and data module, and that is usually a replaceable cassette rather than part of the structure. Check the listing for what is fitted and whether it still works, and treat a missing module as a fitting cost rather than a reason to rule the table out.

On larger tables, look at how the top is jointed. A two- or three-piece top with a clean joint can be carried in and reassembled; a single-piece boardroom top may simply not fit through your door.

Sizing the room

Leave room to walk behind a seated chair

A meeting table needs roughly a metre of clear space on every side a chair sits, so the room decides the table far more than the headcount does. Allow about 600 to 700 mm of edge per person, then check both numbers against the dimensions on the listing.

Shape changes capacity. Boat-shaped and round tables seat differently from rectangles of the same length, and round tables suit a camera at one end better.

Delivery to Brussels

Delivered to Brussels, with access checked first

These tables are not held in Brussels. Delivery to Brussels and the surrounding region is arranged once an order is confirmed, and because meeting tables are the pieces most likely to fail on access, tell us about lifts, stairwells and door widths when you request a quote.
